My name is Prahalad Behera, and I come from a humble and culturally rich background rooted in the heartland of Odisha, India. I was born into a loving and value-driven family, guided by the principles and teachings of my late father, Kapila Behera, and my dear mother, Rukmini Behera. Their blessings, discipline, and sacrifices have shaped every step of my life.

Early Life and Family
Growing up in a closely-knit family gave me a deep sense of belonging and responsibility. I was fortunate to have been raised alongside my four brothers and two sisters, who added meaning and color to my childhood days. Their names are:

Each one of them has played a unique role in my life. From sharing childhood joys to supporting one another through life’s trials, we built a foundation of trust and unity that still holds strong today.

Education Journey
My academic journey began at Kanheipur RCM High School, a place that laid the foundation for my understanding of the world and ignited my passion for learning. After completing my school education, I joined RCM Science College in Khallikote, where I developed a broader perspective on education and life. Later, I pursued my graduation in Odia from Ganjam College, immersing myself deeply in the literature, culture, and heritage of Odisha.

Seeking to contribute meaningfully to society, I decided to continue my academic journey by pursuing a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from the prestigious Berhampur University. My time at the university opened my eyes to the realities of social injustice, human rights, and the power of community development. It molded me not just as a professional but also as a human being committed to positive change.

Personal Life
In my personal life, I am blessed with a wonderful life partner, Bilasini Behera, whose companionship, strength, and love have been the greatest support in my journey. Together, we have raised a beautiful family.

I am the proud father of four children who bring immense joy and purpose to my life:

Watching them grow and pursue their dreams is one of my life’s greatest pleasures. I strive to pass on the same values of honesty, respect, and perseverance that I inherited from my parents.

Looking back, my life has been a journey of continuous learning, personal growth, and unwavering commitment to family and society. I have witnessed many ups and downs, but every challenge has made me stronger and more grounded. I believe in simplicity, truthfulness, and the spirit of giving back to society.

My education in social work has inspired me to work for the underprivileged and to support those in need. I remain deeply connected to my roots and am driven by the vision of building a more inclusive and compassionate society.
